Working with all of our partners and stakeholders in the County we aim in 2010 to help support the achievement of the following priorities. • Supporting the five Focus clubs to achieve three year club mark re-accreditation, and help at least two other clubs achieve accreditation. • Support overall Club development in Suffolk • Supporting over 60 new people achieve a coaching qualification • Delivery of an effective and sustainable chance to shine programme, and increase the profile and quality of cricket being played at schools. • Delivery of wave two of the county facility developments plans. • Support the Grounds associations’ development and their role in delivery of the facilities plan. • Increase the number of clubs with girl’s teams and strengthen the player pathway through to the woman’s minor county team. • Support an improved communication strategy from the Board to the community including management of the new website, and club road shows. • Support delivery of a high quality experience for young cricketers on the player pathway through district/county cricket. • Support the development of the Coaches association and numbers of members • Build on the progress made in 2009 with cricket for those with disabilities, and ensure our hearing impaired county side play at least 4 matches. • Support the recruitment of more umpires and officials into the game in Suffolk.
