Groundsman Vacancy: STRADBROKE Cricket Club require an assistant to their overworked groundsman. Duties include some grass cutting, pitch preparation & maintenance. Would suit an active retired person, or someone younger looking to start a career path. This is a voluntary position, but the Club will pay to attend locally-run, 1-day Institute of Groundsmen courses in spring & autumn. Interested? Young Umpires Award Tutor Vacancy: Following the success of the Young Umpires Award course earlier this year, the ECB have asked if there is anyone (preferably aged 18 – 25yrs approximately) interested in actually tutoring this course. Ideally anyone interested should have an umpiring qualification (Level 1 or 2) however all applicants will be considered. Please note all training for this course will be provided by the ECB.
