Women's and Girls' County Teams

County Squads 2012
In Suffolk we run 5 County squads at U11, U13, U15, U17 and Seniors Women’s level.  Each squad competes in the ECB County Championship (East) which progress to play offs for a national winner.  The Women’s side also play in a 20/20 ECB Competition in which they won South League 3 in 2011. The U11 squad playing friendly matches.

Development Squad
In addition to the County squads we are also running 3 Development Squads for 2011/12.  The purpose of these squads is multi-layered and include:

- Assessment for U11 County Squad
- Development of older players who may advance to a level where they can play County level cricket
- Bridge the gap between Club and County cricket

Trials
Clubs and schools are invited to nominate for annual County squad trials.

Winter Training
Each squad have a winter training programme which is blend of team sessions and individual skill sessions ahead of the summer programme of matches.
