ECB Young Umpires Course Print E-mail

The Suffolk Cricket Board in conjunction with ASCUS are running the ECB’s Young Umpires Course on Monday 29th March 6:00pm – 9:00pm at Towergate Risk Solutions, Blenheim House, Newmarket Road, Bury St Edmunds IP33 3SB.

This recognised ECB course is aimed at young cricketers aged 14yrs – 25yrs approx and regardless of whether you want to become an umpire or not will give you an understanding of this very important role. Please remember all of us at some stage will probably umpire during a match, so this will help you when it’s your turn !

Places are limited (14) so will be secured on a “first payment basis” at a cost of £18 per person. This includes tutor fees, venue donation and course resources (workbook, one years membership to the ECB ACO, Four ECB Directive Cards and law book).

Stradbroke Cricket Club & the Suffolk Cricket Board wishes to pay tribute to James Grigg, of 1st Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment, who was killed in Afghanistan on 16 March 2010 while serving as part of The Household Cavalry Regiment Battle Group, deep in Taliban territory in Helmand Province.
