Andy Broome (Suffolk Umpires & Scorers Association) is holding an informal scorers evening on Thursday April 26th 7pm at Mildenhall Cricket Club. Anyone interested is welcome to come along (there is no charge) if they are interested in knowing more about this important aspect of cricket. It will be a very relaxed affair with Andy giving an overview of scoring and answering any questions you may have.

Andy has said for those that can’t make 7pm he’ll be available in the clubhouse from 5:30pm onwards if anyone would like to come and have a chat.

Later in the year (Autumn) he’ll be looking at running a Level 1 scorers course (probably 2 evenings of 2 hours approx. duration), with costs, venue and timings to be circulated later. However if anyone is interested in obtaining a formal qualification they can register their interest with Suffolk Cricket (no obligation)
