The Board
Calling All Scorers/Potential Scorers Print E-mail

Do scorers count?  Of course they do as they are an integral part of the officiating team of a cricket match.

You could be excused in thinking not as all the emphasis of  ECB ACO appears to have been concentrated on umpire
training and development at national and local levels with just the link on ECB website for scorers.

There is a training and development programme for scorers that needs to be arranged and explained locally.
Andy Broome, whom I expect some of you know, has agreed to be the Suffolk scorers representative and contact
for ECB ACO.

For those who do not know, Andy was a club player who turned to scoring for his club,
progressed to County scorer and has also, by invitation, scored at International level.

What really needs to happen first to be able to spread the word is to establish a database of existing and
potential scorers and to that end could you please complete and return to Andy the questionnaire below
