The Institute of Groundsmanship has teamed up with the ECB to offer cricket grounds staff a programme of progressive training courses for the management of cricket pitches.

These courses provide a solid base for grounds staff to prepare and maintain a better and safer playing surface.

The Grounds Association actively encourage attendance at these training courses by looking to offer training opportunities to new and existing groundsmen by subsidising the training costs.  It is a firm belief of the SGA that all groundsmen would benefit from attending the Foundation level training, whatever your level of experience.

The Suffolk Grounds Association will subsidise your course fees if you are attached to an affiliated Suffolk Cricket Board club and have a valid Grounds Association Membership. Grounds Association membership is valid from 1st January - 31st December each calendar year and costs £10 annually. Each of the Foundation Level courses will cost £45 and the Intermediate Level charge will be £65, if you meet the above criteria.
