The ECB grounds trailer is available for hire by member clubs. The trailer is equipped with all machinery required to complete autumn renovation work. 

The following is available for hire:-

• Groundsman cam action spiker.
• SISIS Rotorake MK5 heavy duty powered scarifier/ de-thatcher.
• Sarel roller.
• SISIS truespread.
• Drag mat.
• Lute.

Seed / fertiliser spreader.

For clubs who are not fortunate to have their own renovation equipment, the grounds trailer should be seen as and an affordable option to ensure pitches are repaired correctly at the end of the season.

If your club has a groundsman who is IOG qualified or has the knowledge and experience to use all the equipment in a safe and efficient manner, the cost of the hire would be £125.00. Although it would not be regarded as best practice to aerate at the same time as renovation takes place, if you require the Groundsman spiker available on the trailer, please let me know so that this can be arranged.  The cost of the spiker later in the autumn would be £50.00, if a member club has already hired the trailer.  If the spiker only is hired the cost would be £75.00.

For clubs who do not have a groundsman with sound groundsmanship credentials, the trailer can be supplied with a member of the Suffolk Grounds Association who will operate the scarifier etc.
