BLIND CRICKET ENGLAND AND WALES NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT EVENT

This event, the biggest of it's kind, will bring together new and developing visually impaired cricketers from all over the country for a festival of blind cricket.

SAT 11th / SUN 12th SEPTEMBER 2010

The weekend is open to players of all ages and abilities, from those trying the game for the first time to players looking to break into their county first teams.

There will be qualified V.I. cricket coaches on hand to teach both domestic and international blind cricket, as well as plenty of  opportunity to play short matches against other development teams.

It will take place at York Universitys Heslington campus, situated in a quiet location, ideal for the playing of V.I. cricket,  and just a 10 minute taxi ride from York railway station, which takes trains from all over the country.
Accommodation will be provided on the Saturday night on a B& b basis and all cricket pitches , coaches, umpires etc. will be paid for.

The only cost to participants will be their travel costs to the venue.

This is a unique opportunity for new and developing V.I. cricket players to get together in one place to swap ideas and  get professional coaching and advice about our great game.
